SA – Equity – Resources Funds

These funds invest at least 80% of the market value of the funds in shares listed in the FTSE/JSE Oil & Gas and Basic Materials industry groups or in a similar sector of an international stock exchange. Up to 10% of a fund may be invested in shares outside the defined sectors in companies that conduct similar business activities as those in the defined sectors. Due to both the nature and focus of these funds, they may be more volatile than funds that are diversified across a wider range of FTSE / JSE industry groups.
